The best thing I found about CoD4 was how intuitive the control scheme is and how quick it was to pick up. Everything is where it should be, or where you think it should be. Definite 10 for that.
Graphics were hawt, very sweet SFX for sure. The ability to shoot through walls is just awesome too, one of the best features in the game I think.
The story I found was kind of lame. You're taking a character out of a story 60 years in the past, to lead this new team of SAS agents? That was weak. Also, the nuking of the American was unnecessary too, I don't think he really had to die like that, it kind of left that campaign hanging and never really caught up to it until you kill the mastermind in the barn.
It was fun, yeah, but it wasn't the best game I've ever played "fun-wise".
Replay is the same deal, I've replayed it since beating it but after a while it just gets redundant.

I didn't know that the character was taken from a previous storyline. That does make the whole story a bit bleh. I agree, fun game, but replaying gets old. Online play is pretty solid, but I think they need to add some more maps to play on.
