2142 is one of the better, if not the best Battlefield in the series. The weapons were unique, the upgrades were fun, and it was fairly easy to rank up quickly so you could afford all those fun things like cloaking devices and a shotgun, then run and gun around the map killing all you saw.

The graphics, for me, sucked. A lot. I'll add a screenshot later to illustrate my point.

The controls were standard, easy PC game controls. Nothing fancy or difficult to pick up. The story was neat, you're in the army during an ice age fighting to control the last warm spots on the planet.

Very addictive multiplayer, very high replay value.

I'd recommend it to anyone who hasn't played it before.
