After Rogue Spear I was all gung hoe for this game, couldn't wait for it to come out. Phenomenal game, really fun to play over and over again and especially fun to play online or with your buddies on LAN.
It also brought some cool features to the PC, like the leaning around corners thing, as well as a small sense of realism in that when you shot someone there was a puff of "blood" as they fell. I thought it was cool. 
Very addictive online, very fun to play actually as a team as opposed to most team games where everyone goes off on their own. This one was different, it was a true team game to the core.

I agree, this is a good game.
I love the no spawn factor. Encourage you to play carefully, makes the game much scarier for me on some maps.
Prison and some maps can be so scary when you are the last one alive on your team. This is a good game to play at night with your lights off.

Was it you I played with.. once? Twice? It was someone from CHQ back in the day.
Indeed, I always hated when your teammate would breach a door and get blown away instantly, leaving you to find out where the guy with the shotgun was and how to finally kill him (especially when you were out of frags).
