Call of Duty has always been better than Medal of Honour in my opinion, mostly for the control scheme over any other reason. This installment is no different, which is both good and bad. It really adds nothing new to the genre, or to the series, and probably could have been skipped all together. Being the first Treyarch game in the series I expected it to be different and was not disappointed in that regard. It all seemed dirtier than CoD2, more gritty and dark. The multiplayer component was fantastic too.
Bottom line, if you're into WW2 shooters this is the best one to get. It's got nothing on CoD5 in my eyes, and while the latter is merely an unnecessary extension of a dead genre, CoD3 is the CoD2 you always wanted to play. Worth every penny, especially considering how cheap it is now!
